Pattie Boyd and Twiggy photographed by Justin de Villeneuve in Milan, Italy wearing two elegant nineteenth century inspired amethyst and autumn sky soft color print dresses by Krizia with long matching scarves. Their hair styles are by Dina. Pattie wrote about one of the shots of her and Twiggy: “Twiggy and me in Italian Vogue, working for Anna Piaggi, who ran us over five (sic - 12 pages!) pages. The clothes were beautiful and we had such fun with our makeup.”

MYKONOS ISLAND, GREECE
September 4, 1968 - Pattie Boyd walking with friends Twiggy and Justin De Villeneuve during a stop-over at Mykonos Island, Greece. The trio made this the first stop in their Aegean islands cruise aboard the yacht “Avra” as guests of a Greek friend. (Date according to info on the press photo.)

LUCY IN LONDON
Screen captures from the Lucille Ball television special, Lucy In London, recently released on the DVD of The Lucy Show Season Five. The scenes featuring models Jenny Boyd, Twiggy, Samantha Juste and Chrissie Shrimpton are very brief clips which appear about 15-16 minutes into the show during the title musical segment, “Lucy In London” - written and sung by Phil Spector. The video quality is very good. Filming took place on location in London during May 1966. Lucy In London was aired only once on October 24, 1966 on CBS.

Lucy In London
Jenny Boyd appeared in the opening musical sequence of Lucille Ball’s TV special, Lucy In London, which aired October 24, 1966 on CBS. Lucy In London, plus a new documentary on the making of Lucy In London, is included in the recently released DVD set of The Lucy Show Season Five.

Two color screen captures from video posted on YouTube several years ago show the four swinging sixties models featured in the opening segment of Lucy In London: Chrissie Shrimpton (the then girlfriend of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and younger sister of top model Jean Shrimpton), Twiggy (aka Lesley Hornby, was virtually unknown during filming but her career was about to take off within a few months), Jenny Boyd (Pattie’s sister, Beatle sister-in-law, and future wife of Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac), and Samantha Juste (who would soon meet and eventually marry Micky Dolenz of the Monkees TV show - which was just debuting in September 1966.)
