“We had a 30-foot motor boat that we’d rented. It came with a captain and his wife, and a deck-hand. It was nothing palatial, but we cruised around having a great time. I was with Maureen, and Paul was with Jane Asher. Jane couldn’t go in the sun and Paul got sunburnt one day and was screaming all night. Our bedrooms were either side of the passageway with only curtains dividing them, so you could hear everything.” - Ringo Starr

Maureen didn’t go to Greece in July 1967 when the Beatles and families holidayed together. This photo, published in The Beatles Anthology book, is from Ringo Starr’s personal collection taken of Maureen Cox, 17, during her Greek holiday with Ringo, Paul McCartney and Jane Asher in September 1963.

My favorite thing always about this picture is George.
February 11, 1965 - It was reported that George rode a bicycle to the wedding! (have never been sure if it was true?)
It Was 48 Years Ago Today…
February 11, 1965 - Ringo Starr and Maureen Cox were married. Waiting in chairs at Caxton Hall for the early 8:00 a.m. wedding ceremony to begin are (Front Row): Harry Graves, Ringo Starr, Maureen Cox, and her mother Florence Cox. (Back Row): Brian Epstein, Cynthia Lennon, John Lennon and George Harrison. Paul McCartney missed the ceremony because he was on holiday in Tunisia. Photographer Robert Freeman recalled that John was laughing and cutting up behind Ringo & Maureen’s backs while he was taking photographs.

Photos from 1964 to 1967 of Ringo with Maureen, an unknown model, and Geri Miller. In photo #2 Ringo is nose-to-nose with a model during the Help! shoot in the Bahamas in February 1965. In photo #4 with Cynthia and John at the Peppermint Lounge in New York, Geri Miller is sitting on Ringo’s lap.
Cyn and Mo visited the Beatles at their hotel in August 1963 to celebrate John and Cyn’s wedding anniversary.
These photos may have been taken on August 22, 1963 at the hotel in Bournemouth where the Beatles were staying during their tour. Cynthia was visiting John for a few days on the road and was photographed during an interview with Johnny Dean for the Beatles Monthly Book. The photos of Ringo and Maureen appear to be from the same time. Scans and retouching from the Maureen Starr Tribute group at Yahoo!
