March 11, 1964 - Pattie Boyd was the front page headline story on the cover of the UK’s Overseas Daily Mirror & Sunday Mirror (a bundled and stapled set of Daily Mirror newspapers for the week of March 2nd to 8th, 1964). Photo of Pattie was taken at her London flat prior to meeting and filming with the Beatles. Photo caption reads: Meet Pattie Boyd - the envy of every Beatle fan in Britain. Why? She’s won a part in their first film “Beatlemania.” Pattie comes from Nairobi, Kenya. See Inside… Pattie was featured in the Daily Mirror twice that week. The March 4, 1964 paper announced it was Pattie’s first day filming with the Beatles.
