Lucy In London

Jenny Boyd appeared in the opening musical sequence of Lucille Ball’s TV special, Lucy In London, which aired October 24, 1966 on CBS. Lucy In London, plus a new documentary on the making of Lucy In London, is included in the recently released DVD set of The Lucy Show Season Five.

Two color screen captures from video posted on YouTube several years ago show the four swinging sixties models featured in the opening segment of Lucy In London: Chrissie Shrimpton (the then girlfriend of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and younger sister of top model Jean Shrimpton), Twiggy (aka Lesley Hornby, was virtually unknown during filming but her career was about to take off within a few months), Jenny Boyd (Pattie’s sister, Beatle sister-in-law, and future wife of Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac), and Samantha Juste (who would soon meet and eventually marry Micky Dolenz of the Monkees TV show - which was just debuting in September 1966.)
